Compact, all-in-one distributed ePassport issuance

ICAO compliant desktop color inkjet ePassport printing with datapage laser personalization and chip encoding

The PX402i delivers high tech, high security ePassport personalization with a footprint equivalent to a desktop printer. Front operated to enable easy booklet insertion, it will easily fit in any embassy, consulate or production center.

Travel and ID documents
This all-in-one solution combines high definition grayscale polycarbonate datapage personalization using a high quality laser source, with paper page high resolution color inkjet printing. For full ePassport issuance an optional RFID encoder can also write secure data to the passport chip.

Scalable performance
The system offers scalable laser options capable of delivering up to 70 booklets per hour. Embedded digital cameras can be used for stock control and document verification. An optional card handler tray enables the laser personalization of PC ID-1 cards.

On-the-spot high security documents
In addition to laser or color inkjet portrait images, enhanced security options include MLI/CLI, transparent window, a secondary portrait and micro text.
