Passport inkjet cartridges

Inkjet cartridges for the Identis P402i passport printer are specifically engineered to deliver secure, high-resolution personalisation on visa and passport pages.

Available in both pigment-based and dye-based formulations, they ensure each printed element is optimised for its purpose: pigment inks provide sharp, highly durable text, MRZ lines and machine-readable data, while dye inks produce vibrant, photo-quality portrait images with smooth colour gradients.

Fast-drying and resistant to smudging or environmental exposure, these cartridges support reliable operation in high-throughput issuance environments, helping governments and security bureaux maintain consistent quality and document integrity across every passport issued.

Passport laminates

For secure desktop passport issuance, Identis offers two lamination options to protect personalised data pages. The PL200 roll laminator uses continuous laminate rolls to apply durable security features — such as holograms or UV designs — quickly and consistently. The PL60 pouch laminator provides a flexible alternative using individual pouches that fully encapsulate the page, ideal for lower-volume or remote locations. Both methods enhance durability and tamper resistance, ensuring long-lasting protection for identity documents.
