Sandro Camilleri

Italian/Swiss entrepreneur Sandro Camilleri acquired Matica in 2002 and has been the driving force behind its significant expansion and growth ever since. He graduated in Business Administration and Finance from the Business School of London and specialized in Mergers & Acquisitions and Finance at Wharton University in Philadelphia.
With over 20 years’ experience in the secure identification and payment industries, Sandro has steered the Matica Group to its position as a global leader in identity and payment solutions.
Monica Dema
Group CFO
Turin, Italy
Monica holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Turin and an Executive MBA from SDA Bocconi in Milan. She joined Panini in 2009, becoming Group Controller in 2013 and Group Chief Financial Officer in 2016, as well as a Member of the Board, overseeing both Italian and U.S. operations. Before joining Panini, she spent 15 years in her family’s industrial business, where she gained extensive experience in Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Production. She played a key role in Panini’s transformation from a family-owned company to a private equity-backed group, preserving its legacy of innovation and technical excellence. She is now CFO at Identis Group.
Alice Bianchi Bazzi
Head of Product & INVESTOR RELATOR

Graduated with honors in International Management from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan (Master’s Degree), she completed a post-graduate specialization course in Business Communication at Boston University (USA).
From 2009 to 2013, she served as Business Development Manager and later as Sales Manager at LaSeven Inc. in New York, a company operating in the high-end real estate market across New York, Miami, and London.
She joined Matica in 2013 as Executive Assistant to the CEO and was subsequently promoted to Head of Sales Operations, taking responsibility for Customer Service and Logistics. She currently holds the position of Head of Product and Investor Relations, overseeing the Product Management, Product Marketing, and Technical Support teams. Since 2020, she has also been an internal member of the Supervisory Body (OdV).
Marta Nappo
Head of marketing
Turin, Italy
Marta graduated with honors in Economics from the University of Genoa in 2001 and began her career as a researcher at the same university. In 2002, she joined the Fiat Group within the IVECO brand, where she held several leadership roles in Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain across Italy and the UK, including Marketing Director UK & Ireland and later Marketing Director EMEA for CNH Industrial Financial Services. After leading Marketing and Business Development for Asia at IVECO, she spent a year advising startups in Food Tech and cloud-based business process innovation. She joined Panini in February 2024 and, starting December 2025, serves as Head of Marketing at Identis Group, leveraging over 20 years of international experience in strategy, brand development, and market expansion.
Mauro Costantini
R&D Director

Mauro has been working for 25 years in the field of laser technology, with the last 20 focused on specialized applications for ID document personalization and issuance. An expert in government and financial applications, he brings a strong passion for graphics and design, consistently overseeing every aspect of product engineering.
Christophe Malgorn
Vice President Global Sales – Secure ID
Christophe Malgorn joined Matica Group in 2024 as VP of Sales – Secure ID.
Recognized for building high-performing multicultural organisations, he has successfully led teams across large and diverse regions.
He brings a deep understanding of the identity ecosystem, including market dynamics, evolving customer expectations, and the key technological shifts shaping the industry.
His expertise spans from strategic sales and marketing execution, strengthening end-customer and channel engagement, and driving increased product penetration across multiple verticals.
At Matica Group, Christophe focuses on developing a product portfolio that best aligns with customer needs, elevating operational excellence, optimizing scalable processes, and creating long-term value for the Group.
He works closely with customers and the Sales Team to ensure agile responses within a rapidly changing ecosystem.
Manlio Lombardo
Head of Operations

Manlio holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and began his career in the R&D division at Olivetti, where he spent nine years as Mechanical Engineer and Project Leader. He joined Panini in 2008 as Head of the Mechanical Team, building the department from the ground up and developing strong technical expertise on Panini products. He became Director of Operations in 2017 and, in 2024, also served as R&D Director, overseeing innovation and product development. Starting December 2025, he serves as Head of Operations at Identis Group, bringing over 25 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and operational leadership.
Leonidas Koukoutsas
Global Sales Director - Payments
Leonidas Koukoutsas brings more than two decades of international commercial leadership across the Payments and Secure ID sectors, with a core specialization in central issuance ecosystems for financial institutions, government bodies and service bureaus.
Throughout his career, he has successfully led sales operations across Europe, MEAI, APAC and the Americas, building strong partner networks and delivering large-scale, high-impact projects in diverse and demanding markets. He is recognized for his deep understanding of payment technologies, evolving customer requirements, and the global regulatory and operational frameworks shaping the issuance industry. His expertise spans strategic market development, complex program leadership, and the deployment of secure, efficient and scalable issuance infrastructures.
With over 12 years at Matica Group, Leonidas is known for elevating customer engagement, strengthening long-term partnerships, and driving consistent commercial growth across multiple regions.
Holding a degree in International Business, he applies a rigorous, analytical and results-driven approach to leadership. His contribution is instrumental in advancing the Group’s global presence and supporting its ambition to deliver future-ready solutions to customers worldwide.
Richard Kane
CEO of Matica Fintec inc
Richard is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He spent 25 years at Canon and Océ, progressing through senior commercial and operational roles across multiple geographies. business line divisions. This proved to be invaluable in understanding the company’s potential and cultural differences leading to several successful mergers and strategic initiatives leveraging synergies as the sales and sales operation’s function head.
He then joined Panini in January 2021 as CEO. During these years, he successfully led the team through the 2021–2022 global chip shortage and supply chain disruptions, maintaining uninterrupted delivery of nearly 200,000 check scanners while keeping everyone focused on developing and launching the new BioCred solution.
He is currently CEO of Matica Fintec Inc.

A graduate of Swinburne University with a Bachelor of Multimedia, they bring a unique, user-centric perspective to leading a team of 10 professionals. Lisa’s commitment to best-in-class customer service, supported by multilingual skills, ensures seamless communication and builds lasting trust with a diverse international client portfolio.

With an MBA in Marketing and deep expertise in secure ID and card personalization technologies, he drives regional growth, builds strong channel partnerships, and delivers customer-focused solutions across diverse markets. His blend of technical insight and commercial leadership creates long-term value for clients and partners.
Bernd Buschmann
Director of Sales Europe & CIS Secure ID
Bernd Buschmann serves as Matica’s Director of Sales for Europe, CIS, North & West Africa.
He brings over two decades of experience in the Secure ID and identity technology sector, with a strong track record in sales leadership, business development and major identity programs across EMEA.
Bernd is recognized as a people-oriented leader with a wide industry network and deep technical understanding of card technologies and personalization solutions. His strategic yet hands-on approach helps strengthen partnerships, expand regional presence and accelerate Matica’s Secure ID business.
Outside of work, he enjoys sports, music and time with his family.
Tatiana Bolivar
Director of Sales LATAM
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia and a Master’s degree in International Management from Saint Thomas University in Minnesota US. She brings years of experience in the identification and security industries, with a strong focus on managing markets across Latin America. During this time, she held several managerial roles, including leadership positions within the Access Control and Secure ID Issuance divisions at HID Global, where she successfully built and managed sales channels throughout the LATAM region.
