Sandro Camilleri
Chairman of the board and CEO
Italian/Swiss entrepreneur Sandro Camilleri acquired Matica in 2002 and has been the driving force behind its significant expansion and growth ever since. He graduated in Business Administration and Finance from the Business School of London and specialized in Mergers & Acquisitions and Finance at Wharton University in Philadelphia.
With over 20 years’ experience in the secure identification and payment industries, Sandro has steered the Matica Group to its position as a global leader in identity and payment solutions.
Stefano Camilleri

Stefano holds an MSc in Computer Science from IE University and contributes a technology-driven perspective to the company. After gaining hands-on experience in hedge funds in the UK and Switzerland, Stefano now brings this technical foundation and global outlook to the organisation, with a particular passion for R&D and technical sales. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian.
Gabriella Minerva

Graduated in Economics and Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, she served as Head of Administration at various companies from 1981 to 1990. From 1990 to 2001 she was Administrative and Finance Director at Air Europe, and from 2001 to 2004 Finance Director and HR Manager at companies within the Luxottica Group.
From 2004 to 2013 she was Chief Corporate Officer (Administration, HR, Procurement, and Legal Affairs) at Air Italy. She then served as General Manager and Board Member at Trawell, an AIM-listed company, from 2013 to 2017. In 2018 she joined Matica Fintec as General Manager and member of the Board of Directors.
